On December 12, 1852, the Bucks County Intelligencer noted that Thomas Satterthwaite bought a lot from Benjamin S. Woolston and was erecting “a spacious dwelling” at 57 Main Street.
On the 21st of that month, the paper noted the completion of the home of Peter Bailey on the adjoining property at 51 Main. An 1860 map indicates that 45 Main was also owned by Woolston.
