Brownies (Try it)
Listening to the Past:- Visit an old graveyard & make a gravestone rubbing
- Dress up and make butter
- Tour three historic buildings & do a scavenger hut
- Listen to a story from the past

Manners:
- Introduce yourself during “Meetings & Greetings”
- Play the “Handshake” game
- It’s all “Around the World” with greeting in other languages
- Dress-up as travelers & the Stagecoach Tavern & lean about the “Rules of the Table”
- Dress-up & role play as guest as a pretend Victorian Tea Party

Junior Girl Scouts
Folk Arts:
- Tryout the art of storytelling
- Make a project based on a traditional art from the past
- Examine historic portraits “a picture is worth a 1,000 thoughts
- Explore & experience traditional folk arts from different cultures
- Create an original folk art project for the 21st century
- Lean about toys from long ago

Local Lore:
- Explore the streets of Historic Fallsington. Listen to the story of how this unique village changed through the centuries, and learn about the lives of the men and women who have helped to shape its history
- Discover how the environment impacted the ways in which early American built their homes, public buildings and towns
- Design you own journal about the village of Historic Fallsington
- Use your imagination as you “Focus on the Future” and predict what buildings will belike in the future

Architecture:
- Tour & lean about 8 different architectural building styles in the Village of Fallsington
- Lean about the famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright & his masterpiece “Fallingwater:
- Draw a room to “scale”
- Build a model house & design its landscape
- Explore ways of conserving energy
- Create an “Idea File” for architectural materials & ideas

Toy Maker:
- Designed for Junior Girl Scouts, but also appropriate for Brownies “bridging up”.
- Create a toy, make a dollhouse, ply with and share a trash toy.
- Investigate toys through history, find out about toys in other cultures.
- Challenge the imagination – play a brainteaser game
- Learn about toy safety.
