Informative Lecture

Program presented by Susan McLellan Plaisted Dietitian & Proprietress of Heart to Hearth Cookery. The aroma of chocolate will waft in the air as this presentation connects the cultural use of chocolate from Meso-America to Europe and back to Colonial America and Pennsylvania. Learn the basics of cacao cultivation, harvesting and fermentation. Participants have the opportunity to sample a historic chocolate beverage. Held at the Fallsington Friend’s Meetinghouse, 3900 S. Enjoy kid-friendly music by, a rollicking music ensemble known as Peanut Butter & Jellyfish and a puppet show by the famous Tucker’s Tales! Historic Fallsington Day

“A celebration of our past” — this event will feature folksingers, puppets shows, jugglers; Colonial dancing, and Native American dancing; demonstrations of Colonial skills shopping at craft tables, flea markets, and book sales; tours of museum buildings, churches, children’s activities bakes sales, a quilt raffle and a wide array of delicious food for sale will add to the festivities. Admission Complimentary.

Spirits of the Past Tours

Historic Fallsington invites you to experience the unimaginable, ghostly visitations and tales from the past! Meet a host of village spirits from the 18th century as you are Lantern-led through the historic village of Fallsington. Beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the Gillingham Store going out every 15 minutes, last tour offered at 8:30 p.m. Limited space, prepaid tickets only. Adults $6; Children 12 and under $3. Christmas in Fallsington

Christmas Tree Lighting at the Stagecoach Tavern, Meetinghouse Square, Fallsington: Guests are invited to gather ‘round and celebrate the lighting of our Christmas tree adorned with handcrafted ornaments made by the children from the William Penn Center Preschool and Kindergarten and enjoy the beautiful seasonal music presented by the Fallsington United Methodist Church Worship Choir. *Will be held if raining, sleeting, or snowing as long as roads are passable.
